I’m looking for book clubs to host conversations about my book Sacred Tears: A Witch’s Guide To Grief.

When I had my loss, I wanted to read something to make sense of my grief, but the majority of spiritual grief books that I found catered to Buddhists or Christians. And while I got a few things from them (many were beautifully written), I desperately craved something that spoke to my spirituality.

When I couldn’t find it. I wrote it. And now I want to keep sharing it.

One thing that surprised me after Sacred Tears was published was now it lead to conversations about grief, love, loss, what we needed while grieving, what we wished others had understood.

Another surprising thing: Revealing how many Magickally-Minded people simply aren’t talking enough about grief and its bi-products (questioning one’s beliefs, anger at the Divine, etc.). This path focuses on empowerment, but not enough on how to help ourselves when grief knocks the wind out of our Magickal sails.

I want to keep the conversation going.

Do you have, know of, or want to start a book club with Sacred Tears: A Witch’s Guide To Grief as a pick? If so, I’d love to come and chat with you all!

If you’d like to have me at your book club to discuss Sacred Tears, here’s what I’ll need:

  • A commitment from your club to purchase at least ten copies of the book
  • A couple of date options
  • A Zoom link to join you and your group (If you’re in the Portland, OR area, I can even come in-person?

If this Sacred Tears sounds like a fit for your club, email me at courtneyaweber@gmail.com and let’s set it up!
