I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again:

I started reading Tarot because I am a nosy, NOSY broad.

I pretend to mind my own business, but I’m secretly eavesdropping on everyone around me, and I comb Facebook on my lunch break for tea from people I haven’t spoken to in decades.

Hey. Curiosity breeds invention. And long before people started airing their dirty laundry on social media, I was flipping cards to find out why the “Hot Couple” at our high school suddenly broke up…but no one is saying why.

This is why when someone posted this question on my TikTock feed, I couldn’t resist it:

I drew three cards asking how much crush feels, since he blocked me out of nowhere, and got the King of Cups, Death, and Queen of Cups. I am so confused!

Here’s what I see:

King of Cups: A man (presumably the male crush) has strong feelings for the other party.

Queen of Cups: The other party (presumably the querrent) has strong feelings for the crush.

Death: Sitting in the middle of the two parties, Death represents the sudden end to the relationship. It may be reflecting the story of the couple and the blocking.

But what caused it?

Let’s draw a single clarifying card:

The clarifying card is the Chariot, Reversed: When upright, the Chariot means forward movement, perhaps going forward even when they don’t know where they’re going, or why. When the Chariot is Reversed, indecision reigns. It can represent being fully stuck.

I interpret this reading to mean that someone, probably the King of Cups, got scared by the intense feelings and ran away.

OR….

The other person is already in a relationship and their feelings for the querent made them feel the need to block them.

But what do YOU think?
