“I want to explore this goddess…but I’m scared!”
” I’m drawn to this goddess…but I’m told I’m not ready!”
”I’m not scared of THAT goddess…should I be?”

Listen. Rumors about about the “scary qualities” of these ancient goddesses have persisted since, well, always!
But are these rumors objectively true?
Are they true for you?
Or not?
The two workshops I’m offering at Ninefold Festival and So Mote That Con explore these ideas and more. Read on for more information!
If you’re curious about The Mórrígan…

September 27-28, 2025
Virtual
If you identify as a woman, I strongly encourage you to join us next weekend!
Bird, Cattle, and Wolf: The Mórrígan As Shape-Shifter:
The Mórrígan is an ancient Irish goddess frequently associated with warfare and Magick. Yet in many myths, the Mórrígan shape-shifts, influencing major events in Irish mythology. This class will begin with a brief introduction to the Mórrígan, with a special focus on the myths in which the Mórrígan changes shape. Through original exercises inspired by these mythologies, participants will have the opportunity to explore ways in which they can shift different courses of events in their personal lives.
If You’re Curious About Dark Goddesses…

So Mote That Con 2025
A Virtual Conference on Living as a Witch in Today’s World
October 18-19, 2025
I’ll be teaching my popular class The Dangerous Goddess. Here’s a peek at what we’ll explore:
The Dangerous Goddess
When is a goddess bad, good, or misunderstood? What if a goddess is a little bit of each? Can a fertility goddess be vengeful? Would a death goddess offer comfort? Contemporary goddess worship is quick to label goddesses as “dark” or “light,” without considering the nuances and context of the era from which they originated. By looking at the powerful contradictions within Brigid, Hekate, and The Morrigan, we will explore the “scarier” parts of these three goddesses, and discuss the importance of becoming comfortable with these aspects both in the goddesses and in ourselves.

The Magick. The wisdom. The shenanigans…and one HELL of a line-up!
So Mote That Con is the virtual conference I’ve co-hosted with my TWL Cohorts for five years running and this year, our keynote is MARA WILSON! Yes. THAT Mara Wilson: of “Matilda” ,”Mrs. Doubtfire”, “Miracle on 34th Street!” and more! She’ll be chatting with us about her own Magick of the movies as well as her own spiritual journey in a live Q&A.
