If You Want To Know How They Feel About You, Start With The Right Question
Avoid: “How do they feel about me?” or “How do they feel about me right now?”
You might be pulling cards about the person who loves you more than anyone in their life…but in the moment you’re pulling, they’re in line at the DMV frustrated with everything in their life, and the cards might reflect anger, indifference, or distraction—all of which reflects their irritation in the moment, but not how they feel about you in general!
Try: “How do they feel about me in general?” or “What overall role do I have in their life?”
This invites the Tarot to reflect an over-arching idea of how they feel about you, which likely has the deeper and more accurate insight and reflection that you may be looking for.
Then, pull ONE card (not a bunch of them). For questions like this, more cards invites more confusion. Pull one and glean as much as you can from the symbols in the card.
If your card is one of these, here is how the person likely feels about you:
A Major Arcana Card: A profound, life-changing role. You basically wrote a major chapter of their life. What kind of chapter that is depends on the card you pulled!
Any Court Card: A fundamental character in their present life. If you’re not in their present life, you take up a lot of free rent in their memories! The suit of of the Court Card (see below) will also tell you more about what kind of character you play.
Pip Cards: The higher the number, the stronger the feeling. Look to the scene in your specific pip card to give you more details about their specific feelings AND follow suit with these:
Wands: Excitement, chemistry. You definitely inspire and/or attract them.
Cups: Deep love and/or anger. Whatever the feelings they have, they run deep.
Pentacles: Friendship, collaboration. Possibly they want to gain something from you.
Swords: Conflict, animosity. They likely hold anger or jealousy for you. They may feel threatened by you.
A Reversed Card:
This particular exercise is easiest by only utilizing upright cards. However, if you’re a big fan of Reversals, the card may indicate:
1.) The opposite of its general upright meaning E.g., 2 of Wands Upright says they’re thinking of you from afar while 2 of Wands Reversed says they’re not thinking much about you, if at all.
2.) A secret meaning E.g., Queen of Swords, Reversed – They harbor some anger and/or jealousy but will be d*mned if they’re going to let you know about it!
