These are wild times and so many of us ARE FEELING IT.

Navigating chaos requires stillness and calm—being the eye in the center of the storm rather than the things that are tossed around by its winds!

Before we can respond to a situation in a strong, intentional way, we first must be calm within ourselves.

Many Witches imagine themselves as trees—sinking energetic roots into the ground to cultivate personal stillness. It’s a lovely image and works in many cases. But while big trees can withstand many things, they can’t withstand everything! Fire, landslides, or furious windstorms can take out a tree.

There is no single response to trying times. Different types of wild times affect different types of people differently.

Drawing a single Tarot card and focusing on the action it depicts provides insight into how to respond to a challenging situation.

Here are three examples:

Judgement: Characters looking up at an angel with a trumpet. Wait or look for a message or sign.

King of Wands: Man sitting on a throne, but sitting at attention. Focus on sitting or standing still, but don’t fully relax.

10 of Cups: Group of people looking up at a rainbow. Focus on beauty.
