Which Tarot cards represent power? How can Tarot suggest your power in a situation? What are the power cards of Tarot?

A mistake many make with Tarot:

Many people will ask the Tarot: “What will happen if/when?” I get it! I too used to be the kid who read the last page of a book as I couldn’t wait to find out the ending. However, only focusing on an outcome doesn’t help us navigate the situation. Quite often, it just leads us to fear the outcome.

The Tarot is a tool of power.

It reminds us of the power we hold, and how it can be used in any situation. Read below to find out what power YOU hold and how it can be used.

But first…

This past week was the first Tarot Tutorial Study Hall!

In this live gathering, we unpacked “The Stalker Card” Tutorial from last week. Too fascinating. Too fabulous.

And we missed YOU!

If you love these tutorials, you have GOT to check out The Cauldron Calling: my virtual platform where people use REAL Magick to live AMAZING lives. Every Tuesday, we host a live gathering to break down the previous week’s Tarot Tutorial, practice reading for ourselves and each other, and unpack our most sticky Tarot questions. Join at the Dabbler or Seeker level to get access to this perk plus a wealth of other exclusive offerings for the Magickally-minded.

Tarot and Power

To use the Tarot to find out what kind of power you hold, begin by pulling ONE card for one of the following questions:

  • What is my strongest personal power, in general? (Note: This will change throughout your life!)
  • What is the greatest power I hold today?
  • What power do I hold in (xyz) situation?
  • Where am I without power in (xyz) situation?
  • What kind of personal power do I need to grow?

What the Tarot says about your power:

Cups: The Power of Emotions – Persuasion, provoking sympathy, ability to soothe or outrage
Wands: The Power of Passion – Attraction, desire, inspiration, sparking desire.
Swords: The Power of Conflict – To address conflict (either to end or create, whatever is necessary), to create swift and lasting change.
Pentacles: The Power of Stability – Provide foundation either through material goods or rules. To maintain tradition and organization
A Major Arcana Card: The Power of Embodying the Role as Reflected in the card’s role of The Fool’s Journey.

Remember: Asking only about how a situation will end limits the Tarot’s power to aid you…AND limits your own personal power in any given situation.

A Personal Power Spread:

Use this spread to understand how your own power can best be used in a complicated situation…
