What does Deity energy feel like? How do you know if a God is reaching out to you? What are the signs of a Deity reaching out?
“Is a Deity calling to me?” is one of the most common questions I get in both my Tarot readings and Witchcraft classes. It’s also one of the most natural questions!
Maybe you’re having dreams of this Deity. Maybe there are wild synchronistic moments happening all around you. Maybe you just think a specific Deity is interesting. No matter what the case may be, if the Deity is on your mind, there’s a good chance that YES, they are calling out to you.
But if you want a more concrete answer, as always, the Tarot has insight.
The easiest and most direct way to use the Tarot to answer the question “Is (insert name of Deity) calling me” is to pull just ONE card. More than that will likely confuse you. Honestly, you only need one card to know!
The images in the card can usually tell you very quickly if the Deity is calling out to you.
Some of the perhaps more obvious cards might be, if you wonder if there’s a solar deity is calling you and you get the Sun, that’s a pretty powerful sign! Likewise, if you are feeling called to a lunar Deity and get a Moon card, another powerful sign. Finally, if you are feeling that a Death deity may be calling you and you get the Death card, boom! Another sign!

The Basic Formula: List a few of the key characteristics you associate with this particular Deity. Then, when you ask the Tarot if this Deity is calling you, an upright card that carries symbols that relate to these characteristics is a sure sign that the Deity in question is indeed calling you.
